The IPS 87971 Water-Tite outlet box is designed for terminating ice maker water supply lines in residential and commercial applications. This model features a one-piece molded plastic box with an integrated flange and a 1/4-turn lead-free brass valve, making it suitable for use with 1/2" PEX tubing via F1807 (crimp) connections.

The box includes a snap-on faceplate to accommodate up to 3/4" drywall, offering a clean finish after installation. Its contoured box shape allows unobstructed access to the valve, while the self-bracketing design eliminates the need for external support framing.
