Harris 5620F1 Stay-Silv® 5 Brazing Alloy – 1/8" x 20" Rods, 5% Silver Phos-Copper

The Harris 5620F1 Stay-Silv® 5 brazing alloy is a phos-copper filler metal containing 5% silver, formulated for copper-to-copper and copper-to-low-zinc brass brazing. It offers moderate ductility and improved flow characteristics, making it suitable for HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration system installations.

This alloy provides effective capillary action and is self-fluxing on copper joints. It is typically used where joint fit-up may vary and where cost efficiency is important compared to higher silver alloys.

Application Notes

Apply directly to properly cleaned copper or low-zinc brass surfaces. No external flux is required for copper-to-copper brazing. Use a compatible flux when brazing brass or other non-copper alloys.
