The 5 inch Flexible Banded Coupling by Fernco is designed to connect piping systems of dissimilar materials, including cast iron, PVC, steel, copper, and lead. Engineered for use in gravity-flow sanitary sewer and storm drain systems, this coupling provides a secure, watertight seal while accommodating thermal expansion, contraction, and slight pipe misalignment.

Manufactured from elastomeric PVC with stainless steel bands, the coupling meets ASTM C1173 standards for performance and dimensional stability. It is a preferred solution for both new construction and rehabilitation of underground piping systems.
