The Blue Monster 70886 thread sealing tape is a high-density, expanded PTFE film designed for demanding sealing applications involving threaded pipe joints. Manufactured for use in both residential and commercial systems, it provides reliable performance in environments requiring chemical resistance, temperature tolerance, and high-pressure capability.

This tape is constructed from 99.6% virgin PTFE and maintains its density during manufacture by avoiding pre-stretching, ensuring uniform thickness and a secure seal with fewer wraps. It is suitable for use in systems carrying water, compressed air, hydraulic fluids, refrigerants, fuels, and inert gases.

Application Guidelines
