The Oatey 42045 shower drain is engineered for use with preformed shower bases and offers a solvent weld connection to 2" PVC DWV piping. This drain includes an integrated body and locknut assembly designed for secure attachment and straightforward alignment during installation.

Constructed from durable PVC, the Oatey 42045 provides corrosion resistance and long-term performance in residential and light commercial applications. The included stainless steel strainer measures 4-1/4" in diameter and is designed to resist rust and provide a clean finish at the surface of the shower base. The unit is also compatible with Oatey's universal Snap-Tite strainers (sold separately), offering additional flexibility in finish selection.
