The Mill-Rose 70995 medium-density thread seal tape is constructed from 100% virgin PTFE and designed for use in threaded piping systems requiring a reliable, inert sealing material. This tape delivers consistent sealing performance across a broad range of fluid systems, including water, air, hydraulic fluids, steam, and various chemical services.

The manufacturing process avoids pre-stretching, preserving tape density and uniform thickness. This ensures greater joint coverage with fewer wraps and helps maintain thread integrity during assembly. Mill-Rose thread tape is chemically inert, non-flammable, non-toxic, and does not support bacterial growth.

Application Guidance

• Clean all male threads thoroughly to remove debris and oil before wrapping

• Compatible with threaded connections in copper, steel, brass, PVC, CPVC, and other approved materials

This tape is engineered for use by professionals in mechanical, HVAC, industrial, and plumbing trades. Not recommended for use with oxygen systems or highly reactive gas lines unless specifically approved.
