Installation Guidelines

For optimal performance, ensure pipe ends are cut square and free of debris. Deburr the pipe, mark the insertion depth, and push into the fitting until it reaches the depth mark. No soldering, crimping, or gluing is required. Removal is possible using the appropriate SharkBite disconnect tool or clip.

Not intended for use with galvanized steel pipe. For underground applications, use only with SharkBite fittings that include an underground-rated collar and follow manufacturer’s guidelines for burial.
