Installation Requirements

This coupling is intended for use with stainless steel CSST. Tubing must be clean-cut using a CSST tube cutter, and a metal-to-metal flare is formed using the AutoFlare fitting’s internal surface during assembly. Use only manufacturer-approved tools and follow applicable installation standards. Over-tightening or misalignment can compromise performance. Thread sealants are not required on the AutoFlare seal but may be used on NPT external threads, where applicable.
