Bell & Gossett Pressure Reducing Valve, 1/2 inch Nominal Size, NPT, 10 to 25 psig, 225 degree F, 5-1/2 to 6 gpm, Brass Body, Brass Stem Trim, 3-1/16 inch Width x 4-7/8 inch H
Reducing valves fill the system to a preset pressure for optimum performance. Combination Dual Unit Valves include pressure reducing valve and relief valve. B and G reducing valves protect heating and plumbing systems against excessive line pressures. They are factory set at specified limits although adjustment is easily made. Equipped with built-in-strainer and low inlet pressure check valve. Tail piece for union models is combination - 1/2 inch cooper sweat and 1/2 inch male NPT.
Maximum flow 5-1/2 to 6 gpm at 125 psig inlet pressure
Low inlet pressure check valve help prevent loss of system pressure if the supply water drops below system pressure
Convenient cleanable strainer is designed to prevent dirt and sediment from entering the system
Union connection available with 1/2 in male NPT thread and 1/2 in female sweat tail-piece for fast, flexible system connection
Brass body construction is highly resistant to corrosion-ideal for water systems
Lead-free brass body/construction is ideal for potable water systems
Contains less than 0.25% lead by weight on wetted surfaces
12 psig factory setting and 125 psig inlet pressure
Construction: Wetted parts- cast lead free brass body, EPT with special insert diaphragm, EPDM check valve, lead free brass seat, lead free brass with EPDM insert stem, lead free brass valve plate, strainer and strainer nut, Non-wetted parts- steel
