Taco 573-2 Zone Valve – 1-1/4" Sweat, 2-Way, 24V Heat Motor Actuated

The Taco 573-2 is a 1-1/4" sweat connection, normally closed zone valve from the 570 Gold Series. Designed for use in closed-loop hydronic heating systems, this 2-way valve is actuated by a 24V heat motor and provides on/off flow control for individual zones in residential or light commercial applications.

Engineered for reliability and serviceability, the valve features a twist-off actuator head that allows power head replacement without draining the system. The bronze body construction and diaphragm-type seat design ensure positive shutoff and extended valve life. A manual lever is integrated for valve opening during system fill or maintenance.

Installation Information

The Taco 573-2 is suitable for use in baseboard, panel radiator, or radiant floor heating systems where independent zone control is required. The valve is compatible with Taco ZVC series zone control panels. It is commonly specified for systems with high flow rates or larger zone loops.
