Mars 12787 – Jard by Mars 40/7.5 MFD, 440V Dual Section Motor Run Capacitor The Mars 12787 is a dual-value motor run capacitor designed for continuous-duty service in HVAC systems using permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors. It provides 40 microfarads for the compressor and 7.5 microfarads for the fan motor, supporting both circuits with a single component. Manufactured with a metallized polypropylene film dielectric and enclosed in a round aluminum case, the unit is hermetically sealed and oil-filled for long service life. A pressure-sensitive internal interrupter protects against dielectric failure. The capacitor is non-PCB and meets UL and RoHS standards.
